SOLAR ENERGY CONCENTRATORS BASED ON FRENEL MIRRORS


Purpose of the development: Solar energy concentrator, based on Frenel mirror is a monolithic structure that meets the requirements consumption of materials and low cost, provides mechanical strength and preservation of its geometrical and optical parameters for the whole period of operation. Provides maximum reception of solar radiation for a given geographic latitude, the angle covered by the height of the sun at 50 degrees, which ensures a fairly long period of active work station at any time of year. Solar energy concentrator, based on Fresnel mirror can be used as a solar power unit (SPU) for the heating of different objects and environments, for other purposes in the technological processes of various types of production.

The concentrator for practical operation does not require labor-intensive service, so using it as part of the solar power station and as part of the heating element can provide significant economic benefits.
