TECHNOLOGY OF DRY MATTER INTAKE FROM THE MUNICIPAL WASTE WATER
Purpose of the development:
Recycling wastewater sludge, which result from the treatment of municipal waste, on a dry matter for the protection of the environment, high-producing gas and silicon dioxide.
Recommended application field:
Sewage treatment wastewater plant .
Advantages over analogues:
Rational use of energy and resource potential of the sediment that formed as a result of treatment of municipal sewage.
The development stage readiness:
Finishing off is required
Technical and economic effect:
The proposed technology for processing waste mass is extremely promising, since only Bortnychi sewage aeration station that serves Kiev, you can get about 300 tonnes of dry matter per day.
Description of the development:
() One of the sources of nutrients may be a precipitate which is formed by the treatment of municipal sewage. They are a major problem, because existing methods of processing are quite expensive. A simple storage for specific sites pollute the area, pollute the soil, water and air, and also requires large areas.
Ukrainian scientists propose to process the waste water on the dry matter. To this end the waste mass where the humidity is 99%, first dewatered - using appropriate reagents and special setting, then evaporated to dryness, these precipitates them is gasified at high temperatures (about 1200-1300 gr.tsel.) Using fast pyrolysis (ie. e. the thermal degradation of organic compounds without oxygen) to obtain a high-energy gas, which can then be burned to generate electricity. In addition to gas, after the heat treatment, and formed the so-called "ashes" of MDM can be obtained pure silica - a valuable raw material for industries such as electronics and solar energy.
Practical implementation of development should be of interest to private entrepreneurs: in particular, the project of a pure silica requires a 20 million euro investment and has to be recouped in less than a year.
