LEADING AND HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING CERAMICS-POLYMER COMPOSITE MATERIALS
Purpose of the development:
It is intended to obtain composites based on leading and high-temperature superconducting (HTS hereinafter) materials which have a high resistance when used in corrosive environments.
Recommended application field:
New composite materials for the electronics needs.
Technical characteristic:
The current-voltage characteristics:
(I = constUn) for some 0-3 composites YBa2Cu3O7 - polymer:
a) - 80% YBa2Cu3O7, n = 1,18;
b) - 77% YBa2Cu3O7, n = 1,29;
c) - 75% YBa2Cu3O7, n = 1,93.
Advantages over analogues:
Resistance to degradation composites in corrosive media (water vapor and condensed moisture, carbon dioxide, mineral acid pairs, etc.) is significantly higher leading and output high-temperature superconducting (HTS hereinafter) phase.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() Improved mechanical properties: The material becomes solid or plastic (depending on the polymer). The material is easy enough to make a complex shape. Highly resistant to reactive environmental factors.
A slight change in the magnetic properties. Resistive superconductivity is absent. High resistance at 77K and at room temperature as a result of poor contact between the ceramic granules.
