Purpose of the development: The development is intended for technical support of the organization of control over the level of environmental safety in the places of servicemen's stay.

Recommended application field: Monitoring of air for the maintenance of poisonous, narcotic and explosive substances, flaw detection of gas and oil pipelines.

Advantages over analogues: 2-3 orders of magnitude better sensitivity threshold than in any known detectors.

Description of the development:

The detector measures the concentrations of any substances in the gas phase, except for neon, by means of adsorption gas chromatography. The sensitivity threshold is 10 to minus 6 degrees - 10 to minus 5 degrees vol. % (0.01 to 0.1 ppm) for inorganic and 10 to minus 8 degrees vol. % (0.0001 ppm) for organic gases with a dynamic range of 6-7 orders of magnitude.
