PRODUCTION OF FIBERGLASSES WITH VARIOUS TRANSVERSAL-ISOTROPIC STRUCTURE


Purpose of the development: For enterprises producing cylindrical products from fiberglass plies by the method of oblique longitudinal-transverse winding.

Recommended application field: Enterprises producing pipes for the transportation of cold and hot water, corrosive media and petroleum products, high pressure pipelines (up to 10 MPa), water-lifting columns, storage tanks for solid and liquid chemical products, air ducts for ventilation systems, missile shells, launch containers in rocket technology.

Advantages over analogues: The developed method for designing fiberglass products with different transversal-isotropic structure allows: - ensure uniformity and stability of physical and mechanical properties of products; - makes it possible to regulate the physical and mechanical properties in the longitudinal and circumferential directions and their relationship; - reduces the time to conduct research when obtaining products for different operating conditions; - gives the opportunity to control the strength properties in the process of manufacturing products.

An important indicator is the possibility of carrying out an oblique longitudinal-transversal winding in a one-step continuous manner without stopping the rotational movement of the mandrel and the possibility of regulating the physicomechanical properties in the longitudinal and transverse (circumferential) directions by changing the transversely isotropic structure according to the anisotropy coefficient in the range from 1 to 3. In this case, an increase in the anisotropy coefficient leads to a redistribution of physicomechanical parameters with a gradual increase in the circumferential direction, and to a decrease in the longitudinal direction. On the contrary, a decrease in the anisotropy coefficient leads to an inverse redistribution of physicomechanical properties in the longitudinal and circumferential directions.
