PULSE ULTRA-BAND SYSTEM OF THE RADIO COMMUNICATION OF THE THz RANGE OF FREQUENCIES
Purpose of the development:
For the transmission of high-speed information flow (1 Gbit / s or more).
Recommended application field:
Potential users include telecommunications providers and operators, PPT Concern enterprises, research and development organizations when creating a new generation of wireless telecommunication systems.
Technical characteristic:
The radio frequency - 130-140 GHz.
The range of the communication system - up to 1 km.
Information transfer rate - not less than 1 Gbit / s.
Radiated power - up to 50 W (50 mW with an external amplifier).
The antenna gain - 47 dB.
Type of signal - pulsed ultra-wideband (IR-UWB).
Modulation - PPM, OOK.
Advantages over analogues:
The use of the terahertz frequency range and the physical carrier of useful information in the environment in the form of an IR-UWB signal allows one to obtain a low spectral power density of electromagnetic radiation, eliminates the possibility of creating unintentional interference to other wireless telecommunication systems, increases the stealth of the system, its noise immunity and reduces the likelihood unauthorized access to transmitted over the air.
The development stage readiness:
Tested experimental exploitation order
Description of the development:
() The development is used in wireless telecommunication systems, such as radio relay, broadband radio access, high-definition television programs, wireless devices for exchanging information between computers and peripheral equipment, departmental wireless communication networks with increased stealth of information transmission and secure communication channels, touch wireless networks and etc.
