Purpose of the development: INTROSCOPE designed to determine the structural inhomogeneities in the rock mass (cracks, ball contacts, etc.). by measuring the change of the dielectric constant around the array of wells.

However, until now there are no devices and equipment for definition of structural damage arrays. The demand for coal mines in Ukraine is around 200-250 introscopes a year, may be exported to countries with well-developed mining industry. The device and novelty. Includes a probe that is a capacitor and comprises front and rear plugs, and the active electrode of electrically conductive material, a dielectric body and wires connected to a generator whose output is connected by a cable with a device for measurement. The generator is connected to a device for measuring, located in the mine workings. SUMMARY D: Capacitance probe depends on the permittivity of the surrounding solid, the appearance around the probe inhomogeneities - e.g. cracked, - the frequency of the oscillator is changed in the fixing device for the measurement. Figures vary differently in water or air, so not only can determine the opening width of the crack, but it is required - air or water (solution).
