DETERMINING THE COMPOSITION OF STEEL AND IRON SYD-01


Purpose of the development: Laser analyzer allows to determine the chemical composition and concentration of 15 elements in the alloy steels and cast irons.

Recommended application field: The device can be used in secondary metallurgy to determine the alloy grades for entrance control machine-building enterprises.

Advantages over analogues: Laser analyzer enables simultaneous multi-element analysis of the chemical composition of the material in real time. The sensitivity of the laser emission analysis for most elements are in units of ppm (1ppm = 0.0001%). The analyzer of steels and cast irons SYD-calibrated 01 to 15 elements (C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Ni, Cu, Ti, Al, V, Nb, Mo, W, B) for low-alloyed steels and cast irons. Measurement results are displayed in table concentrations and calculated average values ??of five measurements in different points of the sample. The excitation source plasma emission analyzers steels SYD-01 serves as an uncooled Nd: YAG-laser with a pulse energy of 70 mJ and a pulse repetition frequency of 0.5 Hz. In the device integrates two types of spectrometer "Czerny-Turner", overlapping spectral wavelength range 190-340 nm with a resolution of 0.08 nm.
