Purpose of the development: Plasma inflammation system PIS is used for firing of the industrial boilers, power and processing plants, which use gas and liquid pulverized fuel.

Technical characteristic: Supply voltage – 220 V, 50 Hz, power consumption – 100 watt. Acceptable ambient temperature: Power module from 0 to +60 оС; Igniting device from 0 to +70 оС; high-voltage cable from 0 to +250 оС. Working medium – natural or liquefied gas: Excess gas pressure before the inflammation – 0,04…0,15 MPa. Heating capacity of the flame – 5…10 kilowatt. Flame length – 0,6…0,8 м. The level of the power supply unit protection is IP 54 according to the State Standard 14254. Vibration resistance according to the rigidity class ІІІ (State Standard 20.57.406). Power supply unit mass – not more than 10 kg. Overall size – 305?214?198 мм Flame igniter length – 400…12000 mm Flame igniter mass – from 2 toдо 15 kg (depending on the shank length) Warranty operation period – 18 months after the delivery day. Specified service time – 10 years.

Plasma inflammation system includes the igniter flame monitor box. Operation principle of the monitoring circuit and flame indication is based on the breakdown voltage abrupt reduction of the testing interval due to the gas-air mixture ionization by the burning flame. If there is a signal on the board of device a light-emitting diode lights up and a relay responses. The relay contacts are taken out to the case sockets of the device and can be used in the device circuit.
