BOTTOM SURFACE INSPECTION AND MAPPING COMPLEX
Purpose of the development:
BSIM is intended to do the bottom surface inspection and mapping at the depth of up to 150 meters.

Description of the development:
() BSIM should provide the solution for the following tasks:
carrying out the exploration, survey and inspection underwater operations using standard submarine acoustical devices and cameras;
inspection and instrument control of the underwater objects condition identifying the geoinformation connection and documenting the received information;
carrying out the bottom surface digital mapping with the coordinates plotting of the explored underwater objects;
video and audio documenting of the mapping process and underwater objects inspection.
Portable digital mapping complex has the following characteristics:
Cartographic information source:
Double-frequency echo-sounding device (50/200 kHz) - 1 piece
Satellite navigation system GPS - 1piece
Personal computer for the software installation (not earlier than) - Pentium III 600 MHz
Mapping information documenting format realized by the instrument unit Computer interface (RS-232)
Maps projection types, created with the help of the «Digital Standard» programme:
Krasovskyy projection (СК42);
Krasovskyy projection (СК63);
projection WGS84 (Universal Transverce Merkator) and others
Bottom surface maps format is with the help of the «Digital Standard» programme:
an electronic map (format «dmf»);
a map on a data storage device.
