Purpose of the development:
Intelligent robot adaptive gripper can be used for:
Assembly process automatization if the previous identification of the assembly object components is necessary;
Sorting operations automatization when the robot is working with a conveyor unit, which gets details of different weight in a random manner.

Intelligent robot adaptive gripper is a robot device and can be used as a part of adaptive and intelligent robots, which can be adapted to different gripping elements.

Description of the development:
() The authors have created an intelligent robot adaptive gripper, which consists of the moving elements in a roller form, which axles are located in the guide grooves of the jaws. Each roller has two degrees of motion and has an opportunity to move along the device jaws, moving in a complicated manner (rotating and reciprocating) to perform the detail self-clinching. Rollers contact surfaces are covered by the elastic material, which precludes the possibility of the rollers sliding when a robot operating element is moving.
