Small-sized unmanned submersible vehicles of a “North Star” series can be used for the search, exploratory and survey underwater works in difficult hydrometeorologic conditions, notably for: - Search and survey of an emergency gas pipeline; - Gas pipeline survey under the ice; - Research of the ice freezing processes on the underwater gas pipeline during the winter operating period; - Search of the environmentally dangerous sunk objects (environmental survey of the cleaning units); - Search and geodetic connection identification of the sunk objects; - Beach areas survey and dangerous objects mapping; - Complex instrument survey and mapping of the main gas pipeline underwater sections; - Non-damaging remote monitoring of the underwater pipeline technical condition with the help of the ultrasonic magnetometry devices; - Impure bottom surface survey in the open sea conditions; - Installation of the lifting devices to the underwater objects.
