ECONOMYALLOYED VANADIUM FREE STEEL WITH CARBONITRIDE HARDENING
Purpose of the development:
Proposed grade steel can be effectively used for a wide range of rolled and high strength molded articles
Recommended application field:
metallurgy
Advantages over analogues:
Achieved a high level of properties, usually exceeding performance steels peers. On the toughness of steel 20ATYU even superior strength, low alloy steel vanadium 16G2AF
And grain boundary precipitation hardening steels allows developed to increase their fatigue strength 1.5-1.7
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() Proposed and introduced on an industrial scale replacement of vanadium in carbon and low-alloy steels with carbonitride hardening for titanium and aluminum. Depending on the ratio of the concentrations of nitrogen and nitride elements, two types of macrostructure of cast metal:
- Killed steel containing nitrogen at or below the limit of its solubility in the solid metal at the solidus temperature (0,009-0,017% wt.)
- Bars with semikilled structure or workpiece "superequilibrium" nitrogen (.0,018% wt.).
The advantage of the first type of steel, as compared with vanadium is set higher performance at lower cost and expensive nitride dopants.
Became the second type, in addition to these preiduschestvami, can improve the yield of rolled deep deoxidized metal nizkokremnistyh to the level of semi-killed steels, ie na0 least-12%.
As an additive for steel alloying with nitrogen used with Standard or nitrided ferroalloys we have developed nitrogen-containing alloy composition (ALA) on the basis of standard nitrogen-free ferro-alloys in combination with organic azotonositelyami.
