TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

BIOMASS AND OTHER ORGANIC WASTE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGIES WITH RECEPTION OF CHARCOAL, HEAT AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY

Purpose of the development: Developed technology delivers promises more effective utilization of various biomass waste: sunflower, buckwheat and rice husks, nut shells, wood chips, sawdust, etc.

Recommended application field: combined heat and power

Technical characteristic: Thermo-oxidative pyrolysis pilot plant with a capacity of 70 kW at the original biomass provides an overall process efficiency of 90-95%, of which thermal power generation efficiency of 45%. The resulting pyrolysis gas has a calorific value of 16 MJ / kg.

Advantages over analogues: A distinctive feature of the technology being developed is: - Autothermicity thermo-oxidative pyrolysis process that allows you to create stand-alone processing plant biomass and its waste directly at the point of education; - A relatively low temperature pyrolysis (500 - 600 C) due slabookislitelnoy atmosphere in the heat source; - The almost total use of biomass and waste through its integrated use of all the products of pyrolysis.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Description of the development:
()
Processing of biomass and organic waste occurs in the heat source due to oxidation and thermal pyrolysis, which produces a pyrolysis gas and carbon residue (charcoal). Further, the pyrolysis gas is used without purification, as a fuel to generate heat energy. Coke residue is used as process product - by activation to form activated carbon at the outlet of the pyrolysis chamber, or as an energy product - by means of its direct combustion or gasification further. The implementation of an integrated biomass processing technologies and its waste are two possible options: 1. Preparation of thermal energy in the form of high temperature combustion products and coke - charcoal, which can be activated directly pyrolyzer, 2. Preparation of heat and gas generator, which is fed to the combustion engine (ICE), coupled to an electric generator. In this variant produced thermal and electrical energy. Both options require the full use of biomass and its waste, with the possibility of partial substitution of natural gas in the process unit.
