Purpose of the development: Intended for machining such as flanges, bushes, gears, bearing rings, etc. The treatment may be performed either sequentially from both sides one piece or in two parallel streams. Thus, the complete workpiece machining is performed without intermediate transport and storage.

Recommended application field: The main area of application is the mass production engineering.

Description of the development:

The machine consists of two oppositely mounted spindle heads and compound slide located between them. Cross slide on the inclined frame is moved horizontally disposed between two aligned spindles. Management is carried out by two linear axes X and Z (if necessary you can connect the spindle axis C) alternately switched between left and right spindles, which simplifies (and less expensive) control architecture. That is, during the processing of one of the spindles on the other is loading and unloading. Thus overlaps the auxiliary time and in fact doubles the performance. Installation of the transmission system from the first workpiece spindle and wherein the second processing is performed on both side parts. Thus, with one machine removed completely processed without additional re-installation, transmission and storage of parts. The control system - SIEMENS SINUMERIK 802D, drive - digital SIMODRIVE 611UE. Electrical equipment SCHNEIDER. Pneumatics KAMOZZI, FESTO. Processed in an automatic cycle. Control programs can be entered directly from the keypad, or upload from a PC via the serial interface. Maintains a constant cutting speed. Spindle bearings are made by high-precision angular contact ball bearings under the scheme: three bearings in the front support with an axial spindle lock and two in the rear bearing support. Grease spindle bearings is grease for life. The design of compound slide provides a convenient arrangement of equipment for machining both on the left and on the right spindle. Hardened steel rails in combination with polymer-coated slides from a filled PTFE ensure high accuracy and durability of moving the caliper. Installation of the guide bearings. A support is provided with an autonomous system metered lubrication. The left and right spindles are equipped with manipulators, which provide details of unloading the cartridge after processing and loading of a new part of the tray. To transfer items from one spindle to another machine has built-in transport system. The design of the manipulators and the transport system for fast changeovers in a wide range of sizes of workpieces. Quick-change tool holders with the preset outside the machine tool ensure minimum loss to replace the cutting tool. Along with the traditional lathe machined set any drive (rotating) tools, which greatly extends the technological possibilities. In this case, the machine becomes possible machining center for complex turning of parts with holes, located outside the axis of rotation parts milled various surfaces including a complex geometry.  The machine can be installed various components and systems that increase the accuracy and reliability, enhance the technological capabilities, such as: the control system of the cutting edge of the tool using a touch sensor, control system failure and blunt cutting tool guide bearings, linear actuator and linear encoders; motor spindle, etc.; additional installation drilling, milling devices, or turrets with a rotating tool that allows complex turning and drilling and milling parts.
