TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING OF ENGINEERING PRODUCTS FROM HIGH CHROMIUM IRON-CARBON ALLOYS WITH NANOSCALE OF THE MATRIX
Purpose of the development:
The technology is designed for engineering products (rolls, bowls, plates of armor protection) of high-chromium iron-carbon alloys with carbon content of 3-3.5% chromium - 12-21,5% of the nanostructured matrix (plate thickness and bainite phase is 20 -30 nm) due to the implementation of the bainite transformation during cooling products with cast heat
Recommended application field:
Metallurgy, machinery
Advantages over analogues:
The technology provides:
- Reducing the consumption of expensive alloying elements: chromium - 24% nickel - 50%, titanium, vanadium and tungsten - 100%;
increase in wear resistance of 1.5-2 times;
- Improving the heat resistance of 1.5 times;
- Increasing component life by 2-3 times.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() The technology is designed for engineering products (rolls, bowls, plates of armor protection) of high-chromium iron-carbon alloys with carbon content of 3-3.5% chromium - 12-21,5% of the nanostructured matrix (plate thickness and bainite phase is 20 -30 nm) due to the implementation of the bainite transformation during cooling products with cast heat
- Construction of isothermal and thermokinetic diagrams of decomposition of austenite in iron-carbon alloys with 12-21% Cr;
- The critical temperature Ac1, Acm, MH depending on the chromium content, alloying elements and the cooling rate during the crystallization;
- To develop modes of heat treatment with isothermal aging of the bainite transformation for specific products.
