Purpose of the development: CTRs are used in systems of catalytic purification of process discharges contaminated with toxic organic vapors amounting to more than 0.5 g/cu.m.

There are a number of CTR dimension-types with a capacity of 3000, 5000, 10000, 25000 and 50000 cu. m/h of purified gas. The CTRs are automatic and have a low aerodynamic resistance permitting to use low- and medium-pressure blast machines. Fuel gas consumption is 3-4 cu.m per 1000 cu.m. of organic admixtures in the discharge, purification can be autothermal, i.e. with zero fuel gas consumption when the reactor has been heated-up. The achieved purification efficiency is 99%.
