Purpose of the development: The plates are used in pantographs of electrical transport.

Recommended application field: Railroad transport

Technical characteristic: Hardness HB, MPa 700-800 Specific electrical resistance, mkOhm*cm 0.2-0.25 Bending strenght limits, MPa 300-500

Advantages over analogues: Exploiting of such plates prolongs service life of contact wire by 1.9-2.0 times and enables to save not less then $160 per 1 tone of contact wire.

Description of the development:

The plates are manufactured in bimetallic form: carrying layer of the plate has inlaid montage bolts and made of Cu of Fe powder and work contact layer is made of antifriction material based on copper powder with high content of graphite-lubricant in amount of 4 - 10 mass %.
