NEW COMPOSITE POWDER METALLURGY MATERIAL
Purpose of the development:
Tools and friction junctions of new composite materials are used in paper, tobacco, leather and timber processing, as well as in metallurgy for shaping elements of stamping press forms, dies, rolls of rolling mills. It can also be used in heavy loaded friction junctions of pumps in oil and gas industry as antifriction material.

() We developed new composite powder metallurgy material made of carbides of hard melting metals (mainly Ti) with metal binder. The cutting tools made of this material can be in single or bimetallic form.
