POLYURETHANE CYCLOPENTANE INSULATION OF FOAM FOAMING


Purpose of the development: Designed for thermal insulation of pipes.

Technical characteristic: Reduction of thermal conductivity (lambda) with lambda = 0.032 C and lambda = 0.027 W / m • K (for "cyclopentane" systems) is made possible by replacing the CO2 foaming agent ("water system") on the cyclopentane due to better thermal and physical characteristics.   Specifications:              Lambda gas, W / m • K     - Cyclopentane 0,014;     - Pentane 0,017;     - CO2 0.019;     - N2 0,027;     - O2 0.029.

Advantages over analogues: Advantages of cyclopentane foam systems:     - Ecology - the potential splitting of ozone for cyclopentane is zero and the rate of global warming is low (<0.01);     - Operating temperature for 40 years is 149 ° C;     - High flow polyurethane systems, it is important to fill the pipes of small diameters;     - Thermal conductivity lambda = 0.027 W / m • K and most stable thermal conductivity with aging, that is the least possible reduction in insulating power over time;     - Depending on the method of manufacturing pre-insulated pipe can achieve a low coefficient of thermal conductivity lambda = 0.023 W / m • K.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Additional savings by reducing heat loss with the new thermal insulation of pre-insulated pipes with diameter 325/450 in the heating segment length of 1000 lm tsiklopenovoy with foam - the system for over 10 years, more than 200,000 USD.

Corporation first in Ukraine and CIS countries has mastered advanced technology polyurethane foaming cyclopentane. In comparison with the polyurethane foam "aqueous" foaming which is now used by most manufacturers of pre-insulated pipes can be noted a significant reduction of thermal conductivity (reducing heat loss 9-12%), and the insulation stability characteristics throughout the operating time.
