The goal was to create a unified information structure of the higher education institution for the provision of services on the organization of local data networks with the possibility of merging them into general university network for the desired direction, prompt reconfiguration of data networks, depending on the needs of users, access to information networks and services at based on digital data channels at 64 kbit / s and above, digital telephone services. A draft of the microwave transmission of information, which is a structure of type "star" and consists of a central hub - a base station and a number of subscriber stations located in the line of sight with respect to the base station antenna. Developed methodological support for the design of modern telecommunication systems and networks, recommendations for the use of advanced telecommunication technologies to build an information network on the example NTTU "KPI", and perspektive- similar networks in other educational, scientific and technical institutions of Ukraine.
