Purpose of the development: SDCM is intended for remote control and monitoring of the technical condition of heating systems with the objective of diagnosis and early warning of possible accidents and the localization of their location.

Recommended application field: Range of applications in district heating pipelines to connect the wires SDCM on welded joints of the elements of heating systems. To connect the signal wires SDCM and connection of the instruments in the control points as of the pipe, which features bare elements.

The main pieces of information have SDCM and transit signal wires, mounted at a certain distance in a layer of polyurethane foam insulation in the factory. SDCM operating principle is based on reflection and modulation of probe pulses varying the impedance of the system, "signal wires - Steel pipe and insulation" due to wet insulation or broken wires. SDCM allows control: the quality of the insulation factory, the quality of the thermal insulation of the joints, the soldering of the wires at the joints, the quality of welding steel pipes and detect: shortcomings during heating (thermal protection circuit, defective installation SDCM, etc.), location and magnitude of moisture in the insulation early stage, which enables to prevent an accident; damage to the shell pipe insulation and signal wires acting as a result of inadvertent heating of the earth works.
