Purpose of the development: Electric complete DC EKPTS designed for soft start, variable speed, torque and braking mechanisms driving DC motors.

Recommended application field: EKPTS are used in various industries, in particular for electric winders machine screw mechanisms (e.g., drying units in the rubber), etc.

Advantages over analogues: There EKPTS performance on various parameters. By way of the gate parts:   • combi anchor transducer and activator;   • anchor with reversible and non-reversible converter agent;   • anchor with irreversible and reversible converter agent. Armature current:   • for 6-pulse bridge circuit 800, 1000, 1600, 2500, 3200, 4000, 5000 A;   • on a 12-pulse configuration: 3200, 4000, 5000, 6300, 8000, 10000 A; Armature voltage: 440, 600, 750, 930 V. By changing the engine speed range - single-band, dual-zone; According to the number of electric motors: single-engine, twin-engine; By additional hardware composition of the main circuit: line contactor with and without a dynamic brake and without it; By the method of communication with a power line: transformer-coupled, coupled with the reactor; By excitation current 100, 200, 320, 500, 630, 800 A; According to the excitation voltage: 220, 440, 660 V.

The structure of the electric EKPTS includes the following equipment: Cabinets (shields) anchor thyristor converter (valve section); Control cabinet with microprocessor control system and built-in agent; Shields force with high-speed circuit breaker and line contactor (BAT-tion section); Closet (shield) switching (a twin-engine design); Mains reactors; Power transformer to power the gate of the anchor converter (for 12-pulse rectifier can use two power transformers with different connection scheme.
