Developed a method that makes it possible to accurately and quickly determine the desired angle of displacement of the bone fragments to each other in the commission of surgical correction of the varus and valgus deformity of the knee. According to this method, the device extrafocal fixation or external fixation device, which is used in a surgical intervention, protractor set a new design by the means at its axis in the form of screws and screw, which does not fall out. The axis of the goniometer is aligned with the axis of the device or apparatus mentioned about which one bone fragment is moved relative to the other bone fragment. The sweep of the arc is determined according to the scale of the protractor, graduated in degrees. Equipped with a protractor scale blade is shaped sector in the geometric center of which there is a hole under the axis on which the rotary dial pointer.
