Purpose of the development: For diagnostic material degradation products and quality control, including in the field during the product's use.

Recommended application field: Non-destructive testing of material damage in the process of use and definition of quality metal products.

Advantages over analogues: The method does not require sophisticated instrumentation, preparing samples for research, and can be implemented directly by the structure, which are diagnosed.

A new non-invasive method of monitoring the state of the metal structure of the kinetics of degradation processes of structure and fracture of metallic materials, and also to determine the quality of the metal in the initial state and when the intermediate process steps in the manufacture of the product according to the scattering properties of hardness based on statistical analysis of the results of dispersion parameters mass measurements of hardness considering the influence of these processes on the load. According to this method, make measurements of any physical-mechanical characteristics of the material, and the evaluation of material degradation is carried out in accordance with the parameters of dispersion of the measured values ??of physical and mechanical characteristics of the material, or by a combination of using the coefficient of homogeneity Weibull m, which is calculated by the formula Gumbel. The method does not require sophisticated instrumentation, preparing samples for research, and can be implemented directly by the structure, which are diagnosed.
