Advantages over analogues: Excludes all intermediate kinematic links, complicating the design and making a significant error. At present, all commercial micro-robots are based on one of three types of engines: stepper, or torque DC motor. The latest development of LILEYA - have precision positioning microrobot PRS-3 with unique piezoelectric actuators direct action of their own design and special software. PRS-3, delete the known shortcomings of previous technologies and will provide significant advantages of the proposed system. Being projected on three rotary axes - vertical axis "1" piezoelectric motor PM-22RS, - the horizontal axis "2" piezoelectric motor PM-22RS, - horizontal offset axis "3" piezoelectric motor PM-20RS, this system is free from the "dead" of the course and provides high positioning accuracy with a significant range of motion. PRS-3 works on the principle of direct-drive rotary motion in which a piezoelectric motor is transmitted directly to the body (or shaft) of another piezoelectric motor.
