TECHNOLOGY OF DEEP HYDROCHLORIC ACID TREATMENT OF CARBONATE RESERVOIRS

Purpose of the development: Designed to increase the productivity of wells by exposure to hydrochloric acid removed from the wellbore zone producing formation.

Recommended application field: Oil Industry

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Description of the development:
()
Operating principle. The technology is usually carried out after application of directed hydrochloric acid treatment, when the entire thickness of the layer is involved in the work. The success of technology - 85-90%. The column goes down the well tubing to the lower perforations. Then, when you open the valve to the annulus into the tubing pumped and pressed into the annulus to the roof seam thickened slowly reacting acid mixture. Once thickened composition reaches the roof of the formation on the valve annulus is closed and the high-viscosity slowly reacting acid mixture is forced into the reservoir on the calculated distance from the wellbore. This formulation will flow into the high permeability zones drained. Following the highly viscous composition is pumped into a low-viscosity, but also slow to react with the carbonate component of acid composition, which is also in the beginning is pumped into the annulus to the roof of the reservoir, and then at a closed valve in the annulus is pressed on the calculated distance. Since the high permeability zones are filled with highly viscous composition, low viscosity acid will penetrate into poorly drained, low-permeability areas of the reservoir. This achieves a uniform deep penetrating treatment of the entire reservoir interval (5-10 m). Thereafter, the well is left for reacting acid with the rock. The time of reaction is increased by 2-3 times compared with a conventional acid. Next, the washing of the face with oil to remove reaction products, down pumps and wells will be activated.
