Purpose of the development: Flaw pulsed spark "PULSAR-2I" is designed to control the continuity of insulation coatings (polymer, epoxy, bitumen, etc.) pipelines, oil and gas and other products in the course of their operation and maintenance.

Technical characteristic: Specifications: - Controlled coating thickness up to 12 mm; - Naimenshy detected defect diameter of 0.1 mm; - Velocity of the electrode of 25 cm / s; - Output voltage of 1.5 - 36kV; - Pulse repetition frequency 30 - 35 Hz; - The distance between the two defects, lockable as separate for at least 15 - 20 mm; - Continuous operation time of battery for at least 5 hours.; - The mass of nodes: high voltage transformer 0.8 kg; control unit and power OPF-1 3.7 kg; Set in a package of 7 kg; - Dimensions of the BCP-1 220x180x75 mm.

Advantages over analogues: Features include: reliability, compactness, smooth control voltage, battery discharge indicator, a sound and light signaling defect.
