METHODS OF CONTACT TRIBOMECHANICS OF LUBRICANT LAYERS AND MODELS OF WEAR PROCESS AT BOUNDARY FRICTION

Technical characteristic: The purpose of the project - On the basis of a complex of experimental and theoretical researches tribological processes at contact interaction of the greased surfaces of friction to develop methods of research contact-deformation and tribological properties of lubricant layers and to develop models of wear process of the greased units of friction for an estimation of their wear resistance On the basis of experimental and theoretical researches the complex of methods for determination of deformation, tribomechanical, antifriction and wearproof properties of lubricant layers in contact tribotechnical connections is developed. The contact-deformation mechanism for reducing the wear process of the lubricant surfaces is established. The techniques of construction of deformation diagrams of the lubricant surfaces and layers in normal and tangential directions are developed. The methods of determining the factor of friction and dynamic viscosity on the basis of tests of samples under the pendular scheme and equations of the state of tribosystem for the specified scheme of researches are offered. The analytical and experimental investigations of characteristics of friction at moving the lubricant samples on direct and inclined planes are conducted. The parameters which enable to estimate the modes of friction and lubrication under different conditions are determined. The system of definition of functions of wear process intensity of friction sites with a choice of optimum schemes of tests, conditions of lubrication and algorithm of calculation of wear parameters for forecasting and optimization of durability by criterion of wear is offered. The effective lubricant structures on cylindrical and flat surfaces of friction with constant conditions of lubrication in contact and optimum carrying ability are developed.
