Purpose of the development: Studies designed to compare the productive qualities of different foreign breeding birds under conditions typical for the majority of poultry farms of the country, identifying cross chickens, which quickly adapts to changes in growing conditions and content, without reducing performance of the genetic potential productivity.

Recommended application field: The results obtained will help producers poultry industry in choosing cross birds best suited to the content and production for the market in terms of their farms. But scientists and students will learn more about the breeding and genetic and biological characteristics of foreign breeding birds.

Technical characteristic: For the first time in Ukraine conducted a comprehensive assessment of the growth and development of the exterior, interior and performance characteristics of hens producing different krsiv foreign selection: Tetra SL, Shaver 579, Bovans GL and Tetra X. Identified their interdependence. The experimental results can be used to create a competitive poultry and egg production forecasting. Evaluation of biological and agronomic properties of the birds accelerate breeding hens and reduce costs for the low-productivity individuals. The largest total profit for the period of the research obtained from birds cross Shaver 579 (16.77 Rs. / Bird), which slightly exceeds the hens cross Bovans GL, Tetra SL (0.16 and 0.34 Rs. / Bird, respectively, and almost four hryvnia - chicken cross Tetra X (3,66 UAH. / bird.) Total return performance (egg and meat), poultry egg cross higher than the meat-and-egg, almost 4%. average profitability chicken egg cross was 24.55%, the highest it has been in poultry cross Shaver 579 - 24.8%.

Technical and economic effect: The use of poultry cross Shaver Bovans GL 579 and the farms of the country will ensure strong economic performance of commodity production due to good adaptation properties.

The study features of manifestation of the genetic potential productivity of chickens of different crosses of foreign selection (Tetra X, Tetra SL - Hungary, Shaver 579 - Canada, Bovans GL - The Netherlands) in a typical of most farms in Ukraine. Meat bird egg dominated by egg weight and linear performance. Bird cross Shaver 579 in early egg production was characterized by high meat quality and development of the reproductive organs. In chickens, 49 weeks old cross Tetra SL find the best development of muscle tissue, and bird cross Shaver 579 retained high mass ovary and oviduct. At the age of 77 weeks, the chickens cross Tetra SL found high meat quality and carcass weight of edible parts. Poultry meat and egg cross Tetra X prevailed egg peers on most anatomical parameters (except for the reproductive organs. Highest percentage of egg production and high rates of morphological structure in chicken eggs were well-developed reproductive organs. Due to the high egg production, early and prolonged egg chickens cross Bovans GL and Shaver 579 economic effect of their content higher than the bird crosses Tetra SL and Tetra X.
