TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

POWER-PRODUCING DEVICES AND POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS


Recommended application field: Power modules are intended for use as anode voltage sources in electronbeam equipment; regulator is intended to be used as cathode supply source in electric-beam guns with preheated cathode; controller is intended for high-powered air plazma jets supply with capacity not exceeding 200 kW. It provides better plazma dynamics and smaller overall dimensions in comparison with conventional thyristor supply sources; power module is intended for conversion of three-phase 380V alternating voltage into direct voltage with output current control in the range from 0 to 250A with maximum output voltage of 100V at direct current area.

Technical characteristic: Power module of anode voltage source technical characteristics: - Output voltage 30000V; - Maximum output current 12А; - Output voltage ripple amplitude less than 5%; - Electrical isolation voltage «input - output» more than 50kV; Anode current regulator for electric-beam guns with preheated cathode technical characteristics: - Maximum output current 150А; - Output voltage 10V; - Output voltage ripple amplitude less than 3%. Current regulator for high-powered air plazma technical characteristics: - Maximum output current 200 А; - Output voltage 1000V; - Output voltage ripple amplitude less than 3%.

Advantages over analogues: Power module provides output voltage low ripple level in the wide range of output voltage control without reactive components on output. Besides that, use of liquid dielectric in output unit increases insulation strength between primary coil and output. regulator provides better control dynamics of beam current in electric-beam equipment with preheated cathode as well as smaller overall dimensions in comparison with conventional power supply systems. Basic feature of this appliance consists in use of output converter that enables to reduce slope of initial characteristics at direct voltage area owing to complete converter control.

A set of power modules is proposed for supplying of powerful electrotechnological equipment. They can be used as an anode voltage source in electron-beam equipment, power sources of arc evaporators, bias circuits for pvd-procedures in plazma equipment and as a current regulator for power supply of high-powered air plazmotrone. All power modules are designed with universal modular package. Structure of power modules can be modified depending on its purpose.
