The multi-purpose current harmonic filter is the most effective device for protection of electrical equipment against distortions because of nonlinear loads such as rotating speed regulators of motors, thyristor power sources. It is a reliable and efficient passive filter for the feed-thought power from 5 to 1500 kW connected between three-phase network and nonlinear load. This allows to suppress 10 times the higher current harmonics being generated into a network and then to obtain both highquality voltage at switch-gear buses and qualitative power supply of loads. The filter is compatible with (reserve) generators since it has low capacitive reactance (<15 %) even at low loads, needs not to be reconstructed for operation along with electric drives of different producers, does not resonate with other components of power supply system, conforms to all European standards and state standard (ГОСТ)13109 concerning the voltage and current signal waveform distortion.
