Purpose of the development: It is intended for resistance measurement of standards of platinum resistance temperature devices. It can be applied as a self-contained device or by connection to PC.

Recommended application field: Application domains: • metrology – interpolating unit for transmission of temperature range between defined points; • oceanology, scientific investigations – precise temperature measuring device; • industry – high-sensitivity and stable device for control of thermodependant technological processes.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Description of the development:

High precision and sensitivity. The bridge is based on multistage bridge measuring circuit, mounted as part of transformers with strong inductance coupling. It has high linearity of conversion function and provides four-pair connection of measurement object. Its design is based on semibalanced (with limited capacity of inductance divider) structure of measuring circuit that allows to reduce considerably its overall dimensions. Total automation. The procedure of balancing is fully automated. For that purpose special variational system is used. It is based on evaluation of measuring circuit reaction on test checks. The balancing result in this case is not dependable on phase incursions in different bridge units and allows to realize extreme high measurement sensitivity. Two types of startup are available: single and continuous. In a single one each measurement procedure starts with pressing the run button. In a continuous startup the bridge restarts automatically thus providing result monitoring. Two measurement ranges. Change of measurement range is performed by connection of appropriate measure „S„O„M to bridge backboard. Each measure is thermostated. Its thermal instability amounts 5*10-8 by environment temperature change for 1o"R".
