LEVEL NOTEBOOK ULTRASONIC UUP


Purpose of the development: Level UUP provided by: - Rapid episodic measurement of the speed of sound in liquids; - Operational temperature measurement episodic wall tanks (reservoirs); - Rapid episodic measurement of produced water. The results of measurements the transmitter computes the density, volume and mass of the liquid in tanks (reservoirs). The results of measurements and calculations are stored in nonvolatile memory for later viewing the transmitter and the issuance of this information in a PC.

Recommended application field: Portable ultrasonic level gauges are designed for rapid UUP episodic measurement of liquids in tank cars, as well as in stationary tanks, reservoirs and technological devices that do not require constant monitoring of discharge / loading of liquids, namely: - Sound transmission fluids (light oil, liquefied petroleum gas, oils, alcohols, solvents, water, etc.); - Dangerous liquid chemicals (liquid ammonia, liquid chlorine, acids, alkalis, and the like), - With reduced sound transmission fluids (oil, fuel oil, etc.).

Advantages over analogues: The main advantage of level UUP last upgrade, it is advantageous to distinguish them from the previous development of portable gauges are: - Implemented in the Level dialog mode operator in the measurements, which allows, thanks to tips, read from the display, to simplify the measurement process and maintenance of the transmitter, as well as significantly reduce the measurement time without a high skill requirements of the operator; - A large amount recorded in the nonvolatile memory level gauge data on the functional relationship of physico-chemical parameters of oil products of different brands and manufacturers on the speed of sound in them (which was the result of the special scientific and practical work), will significantly improve the accuracy of estimates of density and mass of petroleum products, as well as facilitated the identification of possible substitutions in the accompanying documentation without opening the tank; - Measurement with tanks of liquefied propane-butane is provided not only the measurement of level, volume, mass, liquefied natural gas (including gas mass fraction), but the percentage of propane. It should be noted that the use of the transmitter allows you to measure the level of fusion is not the residual gas in the tank that can not be realized using any other means. The possibility of incorporating the remnants of liquefied natural gas provides a rapid return on the instrument. In the gauge-volatile memory stores data on the geometrical dimensions, as well as calibration tables of almost all railroad tank cars in service in the CIS countries, which increases the reliability of estimates of volume and mass of liquid. The above-mentioned advantages of portable ultrasonic level ensured their widespread use for the purpose of operating the fluid, while ensuring high reliability of the measurements.

The measurement is made by a non-contact through the walls of tanks (reservoirs). This should meet the following requirements: - Wall tanks (reservoirs) should be single-layer of a thickness not exceeding 50 mm and made of metal or other materials of sound transmission; - The design of tanks (reservoirs) should provide access to their bottom portion for setting the electroacoustic transducer; - At the bottom of the tanks (reservoirs) should not have a significant layer of zvukoneprozrachnyh deposits. The structure of the transmitter is UUP electroacoustic transducer and an electronic unit (transmitter IRP), as well as auxiliary equipment needed to prepare the installation site Transducer on the tank (the tank) and to install it on the tank (reservoir): Stripper device, the device is installed.
