Developed and investigated abrazivsoderzhaschy composite polymer-bonded and bars of this material is intended for finishing operations honing. Characteristics of the bars: ABBH 125h8h7 silicon carbide green stamps 63C grit M20 polymer ligament hardness CT2. Feature machined parts: cylinder liners of special cast iron brand GGZ-CrMo; HB hardness -220-270; tensile strength and bending - 280 and 460 N / mm square. respectively. Equipment: vertical CNC honing machine. Honing modes: spindle speed - 100 rev / min .; speed reciprocating motion - 20 m / min; specific pressure bars - 27-32 N / cm sq .; allowance for processing - 0.003-0.005 mm; machining time - 0.11 minutes. Analysis of the results of production tests lead to the conclusion that the application developed by Hong-bars provides: - Finishing honing in conditions of active self-sharpening tool, wherein the depth of the deformed surface layer of the working surface is less than 20 microns; - The required roughness of the treated surface, which do not exceed 0.63 Ra, Rmax 7 and the support surface ratio - greater than 85%; - The output of graphite on surface after honing at the level of 34-39%.
