Description of the development:

Object the development is an ash-free boron-, nitrogen-, sulfur-containing additive for lubricant oils, which is a Manninch asterified alky-phenol base of boric acid. To synthesize it alkyl-phenol, formaldehyde, thiourea and boric acid have been used. The additive possesses the same fuctional properties, as dithiophosphates of metals, but it is distingushed by higher thermal-oxidative stability, contains no ash, forms few wastes. It is ecologically hermless. The technology for its production is based on abundant raw material.
