Purpose of the development: High-performance, quality and precision treatment of essential details for aviation and machine-building industries.

Recommended application field: Mechanical Engineering.

Advantages over analogues: As compared with the method of treatment by electric erosion - AGIE (Switzerland), Sodick (Japan) - the electrochemical method ensures much higher durability (300-500 times) of expensive electrode-instrument, which considerably reduces the cost of the manufacturing process while preserving high efficiency, precision and quality of treatment of the surface of a work piece. A new kind of product with improved consumer properties and smaller cost complementing the existing assortment of goods.

Original equipment allows to realize the process of point dissolution of the surface of a treated workpiece in current-carrying fluids under effect of electric current. The electrochemical treatment ensures the following advantages: - High level of localization of the process of dissolution of the surface layer of a workpiece (precision 2-10 microns); - Heightened productivity (skinning rate - 0.5 - 2 mm/min with treatment up to 50000 мм2 of surface); - High quality of surface after treatment Ra=0.32 - 0.63 micron. During treatment a detail and electrode-instrument are not exposed to mechanical efforts, there is no wear of the electrode-instrument. The parameters of treatment practically do not depend on hardness and composition of the treated materials. Solutions of neutral salts (NaCl and NaNO3) are used as operating fluid. The control system ensures stabilization of parameters and optimization of the technological regimes at variation of the conditions of treatment, allowance control, implementation of the technological process at constant and pulse strain, and adaptively changes the cyclogram of the movement of the electrode-instrument. The development contains a considerable volume of know-how.
