BE-METR-AT-002 ELECTRIC AND MAGNETIC FIELDS PARAMETERS METER


Purpose of the development: The BE-metr-AT-002 is designed for express measuring of electromagnetic background in living quarters and workrooms, identification of intensive electromagnetic radiation sources, working places certification. Legal Protection The instrument's design includes a lot of know-how.

Recommended application field: Different industries of national economy.

Technical characteristic: Electric and magnetic fields measuring limits are 8-100 V/m, 0,08-1 мT (frequency range is 5Hz 2kHz) and 0,8 10 V/m, 0,008 0,1 мT (frequency range is 2kHz 400kHz); maximal relative measuring error is 20 %; duration of continuous running with supply from rechargeable batteries is not less than 15 hours; error-free running time is 1000 hours. Power supply is accomplished by built-in rechargeable battery.

Advantages over analogues: As compared with a similar instrument from Enviro company (Switzerland) the BE-metr-AT-002 combines in the single device electric and magnetic fields meters for two subranges with significantly reduced weight and overall dimensions. The instrument is reliable, easy-to-use and of low cost. Development Stage The BE-metr-AT-002 is manufactured by small batches. It is included in the RF State Instrumentation Register. Novelty The BE-metr-AT-002 is a new product with improved consumer properties and lower cost that supplements an existing variety of instruments.

The instrument is implemented as a multichannel circuit that enables to measure simultaneously mean-square oscillation values of electric and magnetic components of electromagnetic field in two frequency bands. The instrument operates in two modes: continuous measurings of one of the components (search) and one-point measurings of field vector absolute values (certification). Data processing is executed by a built-in microprocessor. The readings are output to a four-row matrix LCD. The BE-metr-AT-002 can be optionally supplied with an external antenna which enables certification of devices (including PC) in accordance with international standards.
