Purpose of the development: The device of a fluid type is intended for thermostatic control of objects of medico-biological investigations in small-size research instruments (portable NMP relexometer-diffusometer, microscope stages, etc.), medical tools cooling. The temperature range is from –20° up to +70°C.

Recommended application field: Different industries of national economy.

Advantages over analogues: no use of liquid nitrogen is needed fast attainment of the required temperature is ensured small dimensions, low weight, power consumption, noise level cheaper than the known analogues.

Description of the development:

“Terkon” consists of a thermal unit of an original design, a thermal jacket and an electronic system of temperature regulation and sustaining. The thermal unit, serving to heat-cool the heat carrier up to the preset temperature and sustain it with the needed accuracy, consists of thermal modules working on Peltier effect. The jacket design is adapted to the concrete base device, and the simplest version consists of two coaxial cylinders from copper foil with heat carrier pumped through the clearance between them. Control is performed by the electronic unit for temperature sustaining.
