Purpose of the development: Is intended for automation and improvement of efficiency of the officers' operation when ensuring safety of the ship navigation and solving other problems of navigation.

Description of the development:

The development provides for: input, processing and imaging on a large-format videodisplay of: information from the ship navigation complexes, data of electronic navigation maps (ENM), primary radiolocation and processed information, results of special and service navigation problems solution; automatic documenting on the navigation map of data on the sailing circumstances; pointer light-aided imaging of the “object” movement trajectory on the sea navigation map, similar to the existing automatic position plotters; program adjustment to solution of a complex of special and service navigation problems: control of the imaged information composition and presentation modes, control of information imaging scale and database of cartographic information, preliminary position plotting routes; input of data, including graphic, performing plotting on the videomonitor display using dialog tools (keyboard, touch screen, trackball to control problems solution, sound and light signalling, hazardous work mode and error messages); a serviceability self-diagnostics system; control of unauthorized device unsealing and gaining access to the information; storage and distribution of the processed navigation data to various subscribers on demand.
