Purpose of the development: There has been developed and is produced an electrochemical facility of continuous action «Sanator non-stop» providing production of sodium hypochlorite solution directly on the site of application by direct electrolysis of sodium chloride water solution. The resulting product is an effective oxidizer and powerful disinfectant.

Recommended application field: water disinfection and treatment (removal of odours and chromaticity, organic substances, hydrogen sulphide, cyanides); intensification of oxidation in water (filters and settling tanks) of iron, manganese, metals; disinfection of water purification equipment (ion-exchange membrane, coal filters), water pipes, vessel equipment and other sanitary-engineering devices, including water towers' tanks; disinfection of water-heating equipment and hot water supply systems; preparation of washing and sterilizing solutions for pouring lines for soda and mineral water, juice, beer, dairy products; disinfection of water in swimming pools.

Advantages over analogues: full continuity of the hypochlorite solution production process allows to provide with a ready solution practically any industrial and household systems irrespective of the mode of water consumption; due to a new original system of flows transport, the overall dimensions of the facility are reduced approximately 10 times in comparison with devices of periodic action ease of the device installation and its quick commissioning (it is important in case of emergency situations and epidemics); stable concentration of a ready hypochlorite solution (there is no necessity to transport and store a commodity product with an extremely limited service life); high reliability of the water treatment process due to stable concentration of the ready hypochlorite solution; high level of automation, presence of blocking and signal systems in case of a standard operation mode failure (absence of sodium chloride in tank, water delivery cut off, etc.); modular implementation of the facility allows to increase productivity by building up the of number of working modules; simple service and low labor input.

During operation of the «Sanator non-stop» water undergoes preparation on a reverse opposite osmosis unit with the purpose of iron and hardness salts removal, which increases the electrodes service life-span. The demineralized water comes into a tank. Sodium chloride is added into the same tank. The prepared brine is fed using the dosing out pump for electrolysis into the vessel, where a complete set of metal-oxide electrodes with a long service life is placed. During the sodium chloride electrolysis sodium hypochlorite solution is produced which, with the help of the pump, goes to the consumer. The delivered complete set can include a microcontroller for proportional management of hypochlorite feeding into the flow of water treated. The technical specifications, sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion of the Sanitary-Epidemiologic Service of the RF are available. The product is protected by patents of Russia.
