NEW HIGHLY EFFICIENT APPARATUSES FOR PROFOUND PURIFICATION OF WATER

Purpose of the development: Profound purification of tap water by the method of electrodialisys

Recommended application field: medicine, electronic, chemical and food industries.

Advantages over analogues: The apparatuses are single-flow, of continuous operation (no polarity reversal) with minimum electric power consumption (0,5 W/l) and drainage water effluent ( 5% of the initial water volume). No hydrogen, oxygen or chlorum is released from the by-electrode spaces of the electrodialisys apparatuses. The apparatuses are intended for continuous operation; absence of movable mechanical parts ensures their uninterrupted operation within not less than 10 years. Analogs are not known. A number of engineering solutions and know-how are employed in the design of the apparatuses.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Description of the development:
()
There have been developed two types of the apparatuses, independent and mutually supplementing. Electrodialisys apparatus (EDA) ensures purification of softened water up to specific resistivity 200-250 кОhm·сm. The electroionite apparatus (EIA) enables to further purify the water supplied from EDA up to specific resistivity 2-16 МОhm сm. On the basis of the apparatuses installations for profound purification of water have been created. The installation operates in an automode, it is easy in control and upkeep. A modular design enables to assemble installations of practically any capacity (multiple 250 l/h). Control of specific resistivity is performed with the help of megohmeter of a proprietary design. A number of engineering solutions used in the apparatuses are protected by the patents of the Russian Federation.
