TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

METHOD OF QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF THE MAGNETIC SOFT LAYERS PARAMETER AND MEASURING EQUIPMENT FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION


Purpose of the development: The development is intended to solve the problem of quantitative determination of the most important characteristics of the soft magnetic materials.

Recommended application field: R & D and industrial enterprises.

Advantages over analogues: Unlike the similar ones this methods allows to implement a non-destructive method for control of parameters of the magnetic structures with dimensions up to 100 mm. compared with the method of torque anisometer this method has significantly higher sensitivity. Equipment for its implementation is much simpler and has lower cost than the method of VSM with similar sensitivity.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: The method can simultaneously determine both the magnetic moment of the sample (saturation magnetization of the sample of the known volume) and the effective fields of magnetic anisotropy in samples with a thickness of several atomic layers.

Description of the development:

A new method for determining of the magnetic moment and magnetic anisotropy parameters of the soft magnetic layers is developed, which is intended to measure characteristics of the samples with small magnetic moment and a weak anisotropy and can be used for rapid non-destructive control of parameters of magnetic layers and structures in terms of their production. It can be implemented as an independent complex measuring equipment, as well as modification of the VSM-method.
