Purpose of the development: A new environmentally friendly technology silumins ways of modifying secondary treatment of the melt, which provides training and introduction into the alloy composition of the doping to modify the previous and subsequent processing of the alloy prior to casting.

Recommended application field: Metallurgy.

Technical characteristic: Mechanical properties of alloys and stability are as follows: for structural alloys 280-340 MPa, 220-320 MPa, 6-10% and 70-85 for reciprocating silumins HB. The casting has a complex configuration with a wall thickness of 8-9 mm, which is stabilized by hydrostatic pressure before the destruction of within 350-380 MPa. The technology ensures that the required number of core elements which modifies the potential in the course of repeated remelting.

Technical and economic effect: Non-standard secondary treatment is provided by: - Additional grinding the original crystals of solid solution of silicon and the formation of finely differentiated eutectic; - Saving of the elements of the modifier is 1.5-2 times; - Preparation of stable properties in the casting sections of varying thickness; - Increase the strength properties at 30-40% and plasticity in 1.5-2 times in comparison with alloys that are not subject to secondary treatment.

The technology provides high-quality castings, capable of working in a hydro-pneumatic loads and in different environments with existing types of casting molds and sand and clay forms.
