TECHNOLOGY FOR ENGINEERING PRODUCTS OF IRON-CARBON HIGH-CHROMIUM ALLOYS WITH NANOSCALE MATRIX
Purpose of the development:
The technology is designed to produce engineering products (rolls, layers, armor plates) with a high-chromium iron-carbon alloys with carbon content of 3-3.5%, chromium - 12-21,5%.
Recommended application field:
Mechanical engineering.
Technical and economic effect:
- Reduce costs expensive alloying elements: chromium - 24% nickel - 50%, titanium, vanadium, tungsten - 100%;
- Improving the wear resistance of 1.5-2;
- Increased heat resistance of 1.5-fold;
- Increase component life by 2-3 times.
Description of the development:
() - Isothermal and thermokinetic diagrams of austenite decomposition in iron-carbon with 12-21% Cr;
- Critical temperature as a function of chromium content, alloying elements and cooling rate during crystallization;
- Modes of heat treatment with isothermal bainitic transformation in the field for specific products.
