Advantages over analogues: Neutralization and removal of iron from acidic, iron-containing water and sewage with lime culm is carried out with the subsequent use of by-products as components in the process of building materials.

Description of the reactant-catalyst and precipitant iron - limestone used waste materials industry. The effect is achieved by introducing a dusty waste (culm) in water with its stirring within 1-5 hours depending on the composition of water and limestone, and an initial aeration. Waste-free technology, includes a method for dewatering sludge, which can be used in particular in the steel industry or for the manufacture of tiles.
