DEVELOPMENT OF HYDROGEN CAPILLARY-METAL STRUCTURES AND CREATION ON THEIR BASIS A LINEAR PNEUMATIC TEMPERATURE AND FIRE ALARM FOR SYSTEMS OF PLANES TYPE AN

Purpose of the development: The aim of this project is the creation and establishment of domestic production line of pneumatic signaling (LPS) of fire or overheating, will be used in fire alarm systems and security on the aircraft series, Academy of Sciences, electric locomotives and the like. Creation of this LPS requires the development of manufacturing technology of thin (1.6 mm) capillary filled insulated from the walls of metal hydride technology of hydrogenation (hydrogen saturation) of the hydride forming metal contained in a thin metal capillary tube of considerable length (1.5 - 6 meters) creation of special membrane pressure sensors, the implementation of a computerized system for hydrogen saturation and activation of capillary metal hydride-hydrogen systems, test performance and cycle stability of the LPS.

Recommended application field: Instrument making, Aircraft

Advantages over analogues: Organization of production of the domestic line of pneumatic signaling (LPS), a fire or overheating, will be used in fire alarm systems and security on the aircraft series, Academy of Sciences, electric locomotives, etc., would eliminate the import of these systems. This will result in savings of volyutnih at level 2

The development stage readiness: The working documentation is developed

Technical and economic effect: Previous studies, including those obtained in the performance of scientific and technological innovation project "Development of hydrogen-metal hydride technologies and their applications in medical instrumentation and systems safety", state registration number 0106U006700, showed that the technical capabilities of JSC "Ukranalit" and experience IPM NASU in the development of hydride technologies allow you to create native LPS, capable of competing on the world market, in particular with the products of the company "Meggitt". The Institute of Problems of Materials Science of Ukraine, JSC "Ukranalit" wealth of experience and created a significant technological advance in the first place, in the study of the physicochemical processes of interaction of hydrogen with metals, as well as the creation of new high-performance hydrogen storage alloys, which can used in various devices that use the inverse of the interaction of hydrogen with materials, and secondly, in the field of gas-analyzing devices for various purposes, automatic systems for measurement of water sorption, electrochemical and thermodynamic properties of metal hydrides, the development of software for these systems

Description of the development:
()
In systems of aircraft fire protection in Ukraine today are using older models of the thermal sensor pair, manufactured in Russia. Spot thermal steam units are based on three series-connected thermocouples so that each unit provides a local (point) control of fire or overheating. Abroad, these models are no longer used. On airplanes of U.S. and Western European production using modern sensors - linear pneumatic signaling (LPS), fire, compared to paired thermal sensors have the advantage of providing spatial, but not the control point locations of a fire. They also have a much higher output, which leads to their greater reliability (protection against electromagnetic interference, which cause a false positive), and can significantly reduce the fire protection equipment, which receives information about the engine and provides test control sensors. Besides LPS, which is made from stainless steel, have a greater resistance to mechanical damage and a greater share of work than the pair of thermal sensors. In view of these advantages can be noted that proposed in the draft national development of a linear fire detectors should contribute to solving urgent problems for the Ukrainian transport security.
