SEALING RINGS FROM POWDERS OF COPPER AND ITS ALLOYS
Purpose of the development:
Designed for sealing joints and reducing the effort bolting of machines and mechanisms.
Recommended application field:
Systems used in air, oil and fuel valves in a variety of general purpose machine units, as well as rail and public transport.
Technical characteristic:
The outer diameter 8.0 - 374.0 mm.
The hardness 400-500 MPa.
Elongation at least 30%.
More than 90 sizes.
Advantages over analogues:
The rings are characterized by a hardness of 400 to 500 MPa and an elongation of at least 30%, which ensures their increased deformation (O) properties in comparison with analogues, stamped from a sheet.
The technology allows to increase the sealing of joints and to reduce the torque bolts.
The development stage readiness:
Introduced in production
Technical and economic effect:
The economic effect is provided by the increased utilization of the metal (up to 95-98%) increase in the diameter and thickness of the ring in 3 - 5 times.
Description of the development:
() The developed technology allows to manufacture over 90 sizes of O-rings (spacers) of powdered copper and its alloys with outer diameters ranging from 8.0 to 374.0 mm. The operational effect of this technology is enhanced sealing of joints and decrease bolting efforts.
