Purpose of the development: Determination of various hydrological features, extension of hydrologic series and restoration of lacking observation data on elements of regime of rivers, as well as for computation of within-year flow distribution using available observation data.

Recommended application field: Computer systems.

Advantages over analogues: The "Gidrolog-2" software complex has no analogues and makes it possible to carry out the following operation in an automated mode and with the use of dialog tools: initial data input and processing; computation of hydrological features depending on the availability of hydrometric observation data for such processes; output of graphical information; printing of desired forms; connection of external data bases, etc.

The "Gidrolog-2" automated computation software complex possesses a branched structure and includes a software package covering computation of all primary hydrological features according to a manual supplemented to Construction Norms and Regulations 2.01.14, and other hydrological parameters.
