METHOD OF FORECASTING THE RISK OF THYROID CANCER

The invention relates to preventive medicine and can be used to predict the risk of developing thyroid cancer.

Technical characteristic:
DNA was amplified using the corresponding methylated and unmethylated p15 gene primers by the method of Methylation Specific Polyme rase Chain Reaction. In the case in which the visible band of methylated DNA, predict the risk of developing thyroid cancer, and if the detected methylated and unmethylated bands of DNA - no risk of thyroid cancer.

The absolute specificity and sensitivity for predicting the risk of thyroid cancer.
